VECO Scholarship Program | Philippine Scholarship

Posted on May 6, 2018February 20, 2019 by Free Tuition, Study Now

The Visayan Electric Company Scholarship Grant is designed to support high school and college level dependents of VECO customers. It offers the scholarship to poor, but deserving students living within its franchise area from Liloan town in northern Cebu to San Fernando town in southern Cebu to apply for a scholarship. Accomplished application kits should be submitted to the VECO, Community Relations Department at J Panis Street, Banilad, Cebu City.

The scholarship forms are available at the VECO Full Service Centers in SM City Cebu and Bulacao Talisay, VECO collection offices at Piazza Elesia in Talamban and Ermac Arcade in Cansaga, Consolacion or through VECO’s website. Or you can visit any VECO collection office in SM, Talamban, or Talisay and ask for a VECO scholarship Application Kit. For the College Scholarship, you may visit the Scholarship Office of their eligible universities.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the cornerstone of the company’s community involvement. The company’s current projects such as the construction of the school buildings in various areas around Cebu have greatly benefited the school children.

VECO continues to give back to the Cebuano community through its Purposive Scholarship Program. The selection of VECO scholars was based on the applicants’ financial status, special awards, extracurricular activities, academic status, and timely submission of requirements. The selection process also included a final interview.

The new VECO scholars will be pursuing engineering courses in the University of San Carlos, Cebu Institute of Technology, and University of San Jose-Recoletos. Being a purposive scholarship program, the scholars may be hired by the company after completing their undergraduate studies.

Hello ma’am, good evening. I’m Jevan Egot po, Grade-12 student of Gothong High School. I would like to ask po if your company would allow if I will not be able to present the PSA Birth Certificate on time because it is still undergoing a process specifically it needs to undergo hearing. Fortunately, I can provide you with the petition in order to prove my statement. Thank you for your time! I would love to read a reply from you po.
