Christian Formation (CF) spells the difference of SPUP among the rest of learning institutions. It engages in the development and integration of the three dimensions of Faith (Doctrine, Morals and Worship) in the life of its academic community and stakeholders. The Religious Education program is closely linked with Liturgical celebrations and other religious activities in the campus. These are meaningful moments to celebrate the Faith. Equally important is the integration of the Outreach Services in all the Religious Education subjects aimed at developing the value of service and social responsibility. Through the CF programs and services, Paulinians learners are formed to be proactively engaged in the evangelizing mission of the Church.
SPUP’s community extension projects are people oriented, responsive to issues affecting people’s existence, adaptive to change and development processes, and directed towards transformation through Service-Learning. Thus, community engagements activities are geared towards sustainability, productivity and self-reliance among the members of community-partners.
SPUP, through the CES office has forged partnerships with communities to address their need of service and the students’ need of learning through active engagement. This allows Paulinian learners to connect with and benefit their surrounding communities through service while integrating their learning to their particular academic discipline.
