Since 2001, the Philippine Vending Corporation has been actively promoting education through scholarship programs as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Through the educational program, the youth can develop competence, character and confidence, cultivate their talents, and develop life skills to help them improve their life opportunities.

 

Established in 1997, the Philippine Vending Corporation is the largest vending operator and number one office convenience provider in the country. They had expanded rapidly and built a solid reputation for reliability and superior quality of service.

 

The company is a proud member of the International Vending Alliance (IVA), a global network of vending solution providers dedicated to setting the standard for quality vending programs. Their success is based on their ability to provide cost effective solutions to any business.

 

Empowering the youth and supporting the economic growth is PVC’s longstanding mission. It believes that education has the power to change lives and transform nations, which is evident in their CSR efforts.

 

Lessening the financial barriers allow high achieving students to realize their goals as well as open doors of opportunities after college. It gives the company a great sense of pride to be able to give the youth a chance to become a productive member of the society.

 

 

Eligibility

Must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension.

Must be active in Christian work;

Must have potentials for leadership (as evidenced by his/her extra-curricular activities rendered in the community);

Must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P325,000);

Must be a bona fide Engineering, BS Math or BS Physics student of the University of the Philippines Diliman;

If an entering freshman, must have passed the UPCAT; if already enrolled, must have obtained an average of “2.5” or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “incomplete” in the semester preceding the application;

 

 

Benefits

Transportation allowance and miscellaneous expenses at P2,500 x 5 months – P12,500.00 per sem

Book allowance – P2,500.00 per sem

School fees as assessed but not to exceed P10,000.00 per sem
