The Department of Science and Technology has accredited the Knights of Columbus Philippines Foundation as a recognized provider of scholarship grants to students pursuing technical and collegiate studies in 11 affiliated colleges and universities across the Philippine islands. Since the 1990’s, the Supreme Council has been regularly subsidizing 36 collegiate scholars over and above those funded by this Foundation. In pursuit of its objectives, KC Philippines Foundation, Inc. has accomplished several projects ranging from educational programs, relief and rehabilitation for calamity victims, and income-generating projects, among many others that involved multi-million financial allocations since its inception.
The KC Philippines Foundation shall award 1 year scholarships in the form of financial assistance to qualified college students in any level who are currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science courses in any colleges/ universities accredited with CHED. Preferably in colleges and state universities but not required.
Scholarship slots for the collegiate scholarships are the Supreme Council Scholarships and KCPFI Scholarships while the scholarships for seminarians and priest are the Seminarians in Theology Level and the Licentiate/ Doctorate Studies in UST or Loyola School of Theology.
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization, with more than 1.76 million members serving in over 13,400 councils throughout North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia and Europe.
The Knights of Columbus has awarded College Scholarships and Catholic School Grants totaling more than $2 million to more than 800 students. Most recipients are the children of Knights or Knights working toward bachelor’s degrees at Catholic colleges and Catholic universities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
Courses should be Basic Sciences and Applied Sciences and Technical Courses, including but not limited to the following
Other courses: Business Administration, Accountancy, Psychology, Education, HRM, Economics, Legal Management, International Relations, Tourism
College student in any level whose father is an active Knights of Columbus member in good standing or is an active Columbian Squire
Must come from a low income family group and have no existing scholarships
Must have a general weighted average of 85% or its equivalent
Must not have a brother or sister who was or is a recipient of a KCPFI scholarship
Must not be related to any officer/ employee/ fraternal counselor/ area manager of the FCFAPI, KCPFI, KCFGJWCI or any of the wholly owned or majority owned companies of the KCFAPI.

Health certificate from a qualified physician
Certificate of good moral character from the registrar’s office where the applicant is currently enrolled
Certified true copy of high school form 138 (4th year)
Certified true copy of grades in colleges
Certification from the Grand Knight that the father is or was a KC member in good standing
Photocopy of income tax returns of parents or guardian for the last 3 years, if unemployed, secure a certification from the Barangay Chairman
