In keeping with its mission, the De La Salle University extends financial assistance to needy but capable Filipino men and women desiring to continue educational and training programs in both the undergraduate and the graduate levels. The Office of Admissions and Scholarships (OAS) is ready to help those who wish to avail of scholarships, loans, and other types of financial assistance.
Teaching, research and community service are the main thrusts of De La Salle University. The University is accessible to high-achieving students despite financial incapacity. DLSU welcomes high school graduates, college transferees, second undergraduate degree applicants and postgraduate degree applicants.
Towards the end of the students’ program, in both the bachelor and postgraduate levels, they are required to undergo on-the-job training activities, take a comprehensive examination and/or submit a feasibility/thesis paper to consolidate knowledge gained and propose courses of action that will improve existing ways and tools in their professions.
Upon leaving the University, they join the professional world secure in the knowledge that they possess the needed intellectual flexibility combined with refined skills. These are top factors for consideration in the job market and post-graduate studies.
Imbued with the traditions of Religio, Mores and Cultura, students are trained to be Christian achievers for God and country. The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) awarded De La Salle University-Manila Level IV status. DLSU-Manila is the first university to be given the highest accreditation.

The application fee for all graduating public secondary school students is free. However, applicants must secure an examination permit which can be obtained upon submission of admission requirements.
